Fantuzzi is one of the few makers of Straddle Carriers that provide 3 separate drive systems. This feature allows the unit to be tailored to individual customer service resource and environments. The TWS Model is equipped with mechanical power transmission and cardan shafts. The HSW Model offers hydro-static powered transmission with hydraulic pumps and motor. The electric motors and generators give electrical power transmission to the ESW Model.



Different Fantuzzi models have been designed and made for over 40 years in a variety of shapes and sizes. The initial sideloader that was introduced were the 40 ton container handling sideloader. Even 40 years later, we still manufacture these sideloader units. Two of these particular equipment were just delivered to Southampton. Fantuzzi also manufactures a wide range of this particular model, beginning from 3 ton.
