Lull Telehandlers
Since 1959, Lull has been producing telehandlers. Their machines have been designed for load placement with their patented Stabil-Trak stability system. This system offers a lot more precise placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers provide a huge variety of optional attachments and these telehandlers can really help you complete your requirements, while being safe and efficient at the worksite. When precision and accuracy are a must, leave it to a Lull telehandler to accomplish everything you require.
The Future
Numerous attachments have been designed and made to be able to make rough terrain forklifts as efficient as possible. Winches, booms and rotating fork carriages allow the forklift to position materials in a more precise manner. The booms or articulating booms are available in 2 different extendible arms and can reach up and over structures in order to place loads in the center of upper floors or on interior roof slope settings. New attachments and products are being developed and engineered all the time and will be available in the future.
With extra safety features becoming more prevalent, some improvements have been made. Like for example, load-reach management devices can restrict the forklift's reach automatically, based on the load being handled as opposed to depending on the operator. Pressure sensors are utilized in order to know the load weight. This information is sent to a small electronic memory device that had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
When the load is being placed into position, the memory would compare the boom's extension and the boom's angle with the safety limits. There is an important lock-up device or a warning system that prevents the operator from over-reaching and potentially causing the boom to fail or the forklift to tip over.
