End Control Forklifts
The stand-up end control forklift is a really flexible machinery and is common in the material handling business. These equipment have superior performance characteristics that are somewhat like sit-down electric forklift models.
Ideally, these forklift truck units are suitable for warehousing operation settings which have limited space. Their working aisle requirements are usually less than those required of a three-wheel electric forklift truck. These machines are an excellent alternative for applications that need frequent on and off access, since their stand-up design is an exceptional feature.
Many companies utilized a reach truck to maintain their storage facilities. These loading devices can arrange finished goods on pallets and materials to be stacked or stored into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck offers easy and safe retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also a great alternative for those who prefer to store pallets of goods they do not need yet in an efficient and safe way.
All basic reach truck models would have an out-rigging mechanism secured to the front of the equipment. Telescoping tines are mounted to the out-rigging and can move up and down. The blades additionally have a hydraulic system which allows the operator to pick up the load and move it over the out-riggers. This particular design not just offers much more balance to the whole load, but makes it very easy for the reach truck to maneuver between the storage shelves into narrow aisles.
When the reach truck finds the shelves which are designated for the pallet, the hydraulics allow the forks to swing into place and lower the pallet into the shelving, sliding the pallet into place. Normally, a reach truck will easily fit into an aisle that is less than 10 feet across without any problem, as long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
