Boom lifts are available in 2 general types, the straight boom lift and articulated boom lift. These units are usually powered hydraulically. Most commonly straight booms are the ideal alternative for jobs that require a high reach with no obstructions. The turntable on the machine could rotate 360 degrees with an extendable boom. This extendable boom can be vertically raised to below horizontal. As the operator can steer and maneuver the vehicle whilst the boom is fully extended, it is a versatile machinery. These units come in 2 wheel drive or 4 wheel drive, as well as gas, diesel or propane configurations.



The articulated boom lifts are utilized for jobs that need to reach up and over obstacles so as to gain access. These specialized lifts are utilized for tasks that are not easily completed by straight telescopic booms.
